With over 25 years as a Human Resource Professional who always
felt that people give to people,it was not a stretch to use my
transferable skills to VOLUNTEER.I was always a leader that you
would want around wen the pressure is on.Always focused with a
good eye towards the big picture.
The variety of skills required for these VOLUNTEER PROJECTS
together with my natural communication, compassion,coordination
and people - person qualities have allowed me to expand and add to
my skill set while enjoying the challenges of volunteering and helping
I have been an RSVP SERVE volunteer for three years and provided
more than 800 hours of service. At SCORE CHAPTER # 476 I am the
Board Secy as well as a Mentor assisting people who have a small
business or to those that are considering opening up a business.
At the Visiting Nurse Service of New York I am a Volunteer as part of
the Bereavement Care Team. Assisting individuals and families at a
very vulnerable time in their live’s it has been a pleasure and a
privilege.At the Jewish Board of Family & Children Services I serve in
the Parent Resource Center. Continuing my Volunteering efforts
at home I am the Board,president of Surfside Village Condo 11.
To add to my skills I have studied and passed the ADVOCACY,
2010. In 2013 I trained and received my NOTARY license.
